Richmond Park Students Win Medals at Genius Olympiad 2025 in the USA

Richmond Park Schools proudly celebrate the exceptional performance of our students at the GENIUS Olympiad 2025, held from June 9–13 at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), USA. This prestigious international competition saw over 960 finalists from 58 countries showcasing their innovative environmental science and art projects.

🏅 Achievements by Campus 🎓

  • Ines Anjum from Richmond Park International Secondary School Sarajevo earned a gold medal in the Science Projects category, becoming the only European student to achieve this honour. She also received a $60,000 scholarship to study at RIT.
  • At Richmond Park College Bihać, Adna Muranović and Ema Ćoralić secured a bronze medal in the same category, each awarded a $45,000 scholarship.
  • In the Art category, Zeynep Nazlı Yücel from Sarajevo earned an Honorable Mention, receiving a $42,000 scholarship.
  • Representing Richmond Park International Secondary School Tuzla, sisters Isra and Hanan Hasanović won an Honorable Mention in Short Film, also earning $42,000 scholarships.
  • In the same Tuzla school, Sumeja Jahić and Amila Andelija were officially recognized for their outstanding scientific research, each receiving $36,000 scholarships.

🧑‍🏫 Guided by Expert Mentorship

All students competed under the expert guidance of professor and mentor Sara Hodžić, whose support was integral from preparation through to presentation.
